7 Nice Place to Visit in Warsaw

- Łazienki park

The park and palace complex at Łazienki are one of the most beautiful of this type in Europe. Established in the 17th century, the landscape gardens feature many interesting architectural monuments, the most important of which include the Palace on the Island built for King Stanislaw August Poniatowski – Poland’s last monarch. It served as his summer residence and was famous for the Thursday dinners.

-old town

Walking the streets of the Old Town and New Town allows you to rest from the bustle of central city life. Atmospheric alleys, squares, and cosy cafés create a unique sense of history, and in the summer, the Old and New Town Squares become stages for musical and theatrical performances and open-air galleries.

-wilanow palace

The summer residence of King  Jan III Sobieski and then Augustus II as well as subsequent aristocratic families. It is an excellent  representation of European Baroque at its height and a homage to the former greatness of the Republic. The palace is surrounded by a grandiose, two level Baroque Italian garden and a romantic park in English style. Wilanów is the venue of important cultural events and concerts. The former stables house the Poster Museum.

-copernicus science center

A kingdom of experiments and a heaven for those interested in the world. Here everyone can delve into nature’s mysteries, conduct experiments on their own and, above all, have fun.

-new world street

one of the main historic ethoroughfars of Warsaw. It comprises part of the Royal Route (Trakt królewski) that runs from Warsaw's Royal Castle and Old Town, south to King Jan III Sobieski's 17th-century royal residence at Wilanów.

-palace of culture

Completed in 1955 as a ‘gift from the Soviet people’, the building is the embodiment of Socialist Realist architecture. It is still the tallest building in Poland and fulfils the role of a cultural centre accommodating theatres, museums, a cinema and a concert hall. The highest viewing platform in Warsaw, on the 30th foor, offers an excellent panoramic view of the city.

-Warsaw Rising Museum

Opened in 2004, on the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, the museum pays tribute to all those who fought and died for their country’s independence. Housed in a former tramway power station, the modern museum guides visitors through interactive displays, video footage and photographs.

DKB-VISA-Card can't get out from BCA ATM in BALI

In that sunny day, we were planning to take money from an Automated Teller Machine in Circle K in Bali. A friend of mine was trying to use her DKB VISA card in BCA ATM . DKB is a bank name in Germany. She was sure that she could take the money from any kind of ATM which can be used for VISA card. she preferred to use BCA ATM rather than MANDIRI or other bank because the charge in BCA was cheaper.

She put the card in, and she can't get it back from the ATM machine. the machine immediately gave an instruction to put the card in while the card was still inside the machine. she even had not put the pin yet.

We planed to ask the bank to take the card from the ATM. yet, it was Sunday so the bank was closed.  we have to wait until Monday.

Monday was coming. I called the BCA call center and talked to the operator. surprisingly, the operator said that the card will be broke. Because they said that if the card swallowed by the machine and it's not BCA card, it will be destroyed. gosh! she need the card.

My friend was crying while she heard that the card will be destroyed.  nonono, I was so sure that if i can be in the central bank before the card will be destroyed, we could get the card back. i was so sure that i can talk with someone from the bank and ask them to not destroy the card. because it was not my friend fault, it's the ATM's.in my opinion, the bank was oblige to give the card back to her.

we tried to go to the BCA bank in bali and ask them to not destroy the card. when i was in the bank they said that we have to wait because they haven't check the machine. The women that we met in the bank said that she will called us if she found the card.  Finally we went to Tanah Lot while waiting from the bank to take the card from the ATM.

In the afternoon we called the bank and heard that they did not find the card. "How comes?!!!!". that moment, a friend of mine was so upset. she sure that her card was stuck in the ATM machine. then we went to Circle K to make sure that someone from the bank had already check the machine.

In CK, the Cashier said that someone already check it. so then, we were so sure that it will be so impossible if the bank doesn't find the card.

Then, We went to the BCA Central bank " again ". we met a young women there and  she said that they did not find the card. my friend was not satisfied with her explanation because her (A women from the bank) english was so bad for an employee in the bank. moreover, she could not give the logical reason "why they could not find the card". it must be already taken because the AIM machine had been opened in Monday morning. i thought "something was wrong!"

After a very looooooooongggg debate with that women, we get the card back. THE CARD was found. i don't get it. i was so disappointed with the service of BCA at that time.

Trapped in Karimun Jawa

Pasir putih, pulau pulau kecil mengagumkan dan pantai pantai yang luar biasa indah cocok sekali untuk  mengambarkan Karimun Jawa. it's such a damn beautiful island. Tempat yang sangat indah untuk berlibur, bulan madu atau sekedar melepas penat. tapi pernahkan terlintas bagaimana kalau kamu tidak bisa keluar dari pulau itu? tidak ada kapal, apa lagi pesawat. you are trapped in the island.
Untuk pertama kalinya, saya pergi ke pulau yang kata orang luar biasa indah itu. saya tidak sendiri, saya pergi besama belasan orang yang berasal dari berbagai negara usai melakukan sebuah voluntary project di semarang. that should be such a cool vacation time, i have  friends and a nice place. then it turn to be cooler than what i had imagined.

how could we get out from the island?
